Compact System Cameras
You want to shoot photos in outstanding quality, but are afraid of the complexity and large size of a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera. Then a modern system camera (DSLM) might be just the thing for you.
This type of camera combines the ease of use and portability of a compact camera with the flexibility and image quality of a DSLR. System cameras allow beginners an easy entry into the world of quality photography and simultaneously offer professionals the chance to carry a compact camera with all the functions and quality of a high-end DSLR. DSLMs all have interchangeable lenses, meaning you have a huge choice to choose from just as you would with a DSLR. Only in terms of autofocus and continuous shooting speed do system cameras have slight disadvantages. When shooting sports or fast movements a SLR is still the slight superior camera. In contrast, however, system cameras are much better for video, because of their light weight it allows for a more steady hand.
