How do I search for a specific product?

Just enter your search term in the search box. This can be found at the top of our site. If you know the item number you can also enter that. If we list that product(s) it will be displayed in the search results. You can also use the "advanced search" feature from a more detailed search result.

What non-personal data do you collect when I use this website?

When you visit Viral Tech, your computer automatically sends us some information related to your Internet provider (such as the Internet Protocol or IP address of the computer that you are using.) The site also uses cookies and Web beacons to learn how visitors behave on the site itself. Cookie files and web beacons are deleted at the end of the statistical analysis.

I'm looking for more information about a specific product

On product pages you will find a detailed description of products we have reviewed or written how-to guides on. On some products you will also find additional stored information (eg, data sheets) under "more details". If you can not find the required information there, we're are here to help. Email us exactly what information you need and if we know the answer we will get in contact with you.

I'm looking for a product that is not on your website

We are constantly adding new products, whether it's hardware or software and writing descriptions and how-to guides on each of them, but the market for tech products is very large and we tend to only list products that are popular. This is also the same for our affiliate suppliers, since we depend crucially on them. If you need a product that you cannot find on our website, please contact us via the contact page and will try to find it for you or direct you to a supplier who will be able to provide you with a price and availability date.

I want to return goods within 14 days of receiving them.

You have the right to cancel goods within 14 days of receiving them, and receive a full refund (price of the goods only) in exchange. The cancellation period is 14 days from the day they were delivered to you or somebody who was authorised to receive them on your behalf. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must contact the company you order the goods from (Amazon, eBay, et cetera) and inform them of your cancellation decision. Normally this is done by logging into your account where you will be provided with further details on how to return the item/s, you no longer require. Goods must be returned in their original and unused condition for a refund. If they have been used or damaged by yourself, you are not entitled to a refund. You will be responsible for paying post and packing charges and it is recommended that you send your parcel back by recorded delivery, unless the company has arrange for a pickup themselves. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is vital that you send your communication concerning your right of cancellation before the deadline passes.

I have a technical problem. Can you help me?

We are happy to help you with technical problems with your PC and other electronic equipment. However, you should always check the manufacturers website as they will be able to offer far more detailed information and help on your product.

I have contacted you via email, but have yet not received an answer.

We normally reply to emails within 2 days, 7 days a week. However, if there is a backlog of emails it may take a couple of days more. We also go on holiday, which means we may not be able to reply to emails for up to 2 weeks once or twice a year. If we are on holiday, we will set up an automated email response telling you so. Please note we always read all emails and will reply as swiftly as possible with an appropriate answer. We do not under any circumstances respond to spam or unrelated email messages, so don't waste your time if you are a spammer.

The ordered goods are faulty or have failed within 12 months.

It's very rare for electrical products to fail within the 1st 12 months, however, if this does happen report it immediately to the company you purchase the product from or contact the manufacturer directly so they can advise and offer a speedy exchange if needed. You should always check the manufacturer's manual of your product before reporting a fault as there may be a simple fix. If your product develops a fault within 12 months, you are entitled to a replacement directly from the manufacturer. Please check the manufacturer's website for contact details.

I want to report a technical problem with the website

If you have spotted a technical problem with our website or have landed on the error page, please do contact us with as many details as possible so we can rectify the problem. Please be aware that the website may not always work correctly with all Internet browsers and you should try different ones before reporting a problem.
