How do I search for a specific topic?
Everything on this website is laid out in categories and subcategories, which are displayed on the top toolbar. For example, if you wanted to find a topic about online security click on the "security" button, and browse the available topics. You can also use the search box, located in the top right-hand corner. Simply type in a word/s and click the search button and a list of available topics matching your search query will be displayed. You can also use the "advanced search" feature from a more detailed search result.
What non-personal data do you collect when I use this website?
If you don't want cookies collecting nonpersonal information about your browsing habits, visit our dedicated cookie page which will give you detailed advice how to block them.
Information about external links
For additional information, such as product details we provide links to other websites. These sites are independent and are not controlled by us. These sites may have their own policies regarding the protection of confidentiality of information. We strongly encourage you to familiarize yourself with them. We are not responsible for the content of external websites. Viral Tech reserves the right remove any link at any time. If you wish to enter any web links listed on our website, you do so at your own risk.
I'm looking for a topic that is not on your website
Being just one man, I can't possibly write about every single tech related subject, but I'm always open to suggestions or even contributions. If you would like to suggest a topic I should investigate, or want to submit unique, useful material, then please use the contact page.
I have a technical problem. Can you help me?
It depends what kind of problem you have. If it's tech related, but isn't listed on the website, I still may be able to help you. You are always free to send me an email with your question.
I have contacted you via email, but have yet not received an answer.
We normally reply to emails within 2 days, 7 days a week. However, if there is a backlog of emails it may take a couple of days more. We also go on holiday, which means we may not be able to reply to emails for up to 2 weeks once or twice a year. If we are on holiday, we will set up an automated email response telling you so. Please note we always read all emails and will reply as swiftly as possible with an appropriate answer. We do not under any circumstances respond to spam or unrelated email messages, so don't waste your time if you are a spammer.
I want to report a technical problem with the website
If you have spotted a technical problem with our website or have landed on the error page, please do contact us with as many details as possible so we can rectify the problem. Please be aware that the website may not always work correctly with all Internet browsers and you should try different ones before reporting a problem.
Can I leave comments on certain pages or products?
Yes, on some selected pages you can. To do this you need to sign up for a Disqus account. If your comment/s are accepted they will be displayed at the bottom of the page. Please note, you should always ensure that your comments are on-topic and nonoffensive. Comments may be moderated and won't appear until they've been approved.
